We offer a face to face counselling service for young women aged 13-19 years, residing in the Sefton area.

Many young women are struggling with how they feel. They are having problems with friends, family, school, college or work, they are anxious, depressed, angry or scared and need to talk to someone, but find it difficult to talk to people they know. Counselling can help them talk things through, support them without making them feel judged, and in confidence (unless they disclose that their personal safety is at risk). Counselling can make a positive difference to their lives.

We are looking for female  volunteer counsellors to work from both our Litherland and Southport offices.

Criteria

You must be either  in training on an accredited counselling course with at least 20 hours of practice, or a qualified counsellor who has a passion to support young girls aged 13-19 years,  in the community.

You must be have insurance and be a member of BACP.

We are looking for female counsellors who are committed to helping teenage girls and have experience in working with 13-19 year olds.
